As you would expect from a beautiful rambling country house, Croydon Hall boasts a variety of rooms for you to use exclusively for workshops, classes and gatherings.

Each room varies in size and character ensuring a truly unique experience and we are of course on hand to assist you as much or as little as you like during your stay here.

The Zen Room

On the ground floor in the heart of the main house, the Zen Room is wonderfully fresh and bright with the original wood parquet flooring and a magnificent bay window overlooking the glorious gardens. This room is ideal for active groups of 15 to 25 people or 40 to 50 in lecture format.

Room dimensions: 40 x 18 ft not including the bay – or 70 sq m.

There is an unfitted carpet on the floor which can be used or rolled away depending on your requirements. We can also provide you with large floor cushions or firm tablets to sit on and yoga mats are available for yoga and Pilates workshops.

The Tao Room

This room is an ideal conference, seminar or art room on the first floor of the main house with stunning panoramic views of the gardens and Exmoor National Park beyond. The Tao Room can accommodate 25 to 35 people seated.

Room dimensions: 30 x 20 ft or 27 sq m.

The Old Barn

This is a wonderful building detached from the main house and offering a high degree of privacy. It has its own toilet and shower facilities and three function/venue rooms:

Rinzai Hall

Rinzai Hall is very spacious making it a perfect venue for large gatherings, meetings and one-day conferences and an ideal space for dance, music and theatre workshops. It can accommodate up to 100 people. With a gorgeous honey-coloured wood floor, it has a high vaulted ceiling and large windows.

Room dimensions: 55 x 30 ft or 160 sq m.

Atisha

This uniquely shaped room on the ground floor offers space for small groups of 15 or can be used as an individual treatment room.

Meera

The only first floor room within the barn complex, this room can accommodate a small group of 10 or can be used as individual treatment room.

N.B. The seating numbers are flexible, depending on seating plans and the use of cushions or chairs.
